Measurements of J/ψdecays into ωK \bar{K} πand ϕK \bar{K} π

Abstract

The decays of $J/ψ\to ωK\bar{K}π$ and $J/ψ\to ϕK\bar{K}π$ are studied using $5.8 \times 10^{7}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPC). The $K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}π^{\mp}$ and $K^{+}K^{-}π^{0}$ systems, produced in $J/ψ\to ωK\bar{K}π$, have enhancements in the invariant mass distributions at around 1.44 GeV/$c^{2}$. However, there is no evidence for mass enhancements in the $K\bar{K}π$ system in $J/ψ\to ϕK\bar{K}π$. The branching fractions of $J/ψ\to ωK^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}π^{\mp}$, $ϕK^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}π^{\mp}$, $ωK^{*}\bar{K}+c.c.$, and $ϕK^{*}\bar{K}+c.c.$ are obtained, and the $J/ψ\to ηK^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}π^{\mp}$ branching fraction is measured for the first time.
