Periodic relativity: the theory of gravity in flat space time

Abstract

Periodic relativity (PR), uses a flat metric without weak field approximation. PR satisfies Einstein's field equations. PR proposes a definite connection between the proper time interval of an object and Doppler frequency shift of its constituent particles. This is because fundamentally time is periodic in nature. Periodic time of PR is the key parameter in development of quantum gravity theory in which the universe begins with a quantum fluctuation in the fundamental substance of the universe which is infinite, motionless and indivisible. PR is based on the dynamic weak equivalence principle which equates the gravitational mass with the relativistic mass. PR provides accurate solutions for the rotation curves of galaxies and the energy levels of the Hydrogen spectra including Lamb shift using common formalism. Flat space time with Lorentz invariant acceleration presented here makes it possible to unite PR with quantum mechanics. PR predicts limiting radius of the event horizon of a black hole to be 1R_g and the shadow of a black hole to be due to frequency shift of visible light into ultraviolet and higher range. PR equations can probe inside the event horizon. Mathematical proof of periodic nature of time is presented by way of introducing gravity into the electromagnetic wave formalism. Theory shows that the electromagnetic wave is held together by gravitational forces. Theory explains the mechanism of gravitational redshift predicted by general relativity and predicts powerful gravitational radiation at Planck epoch. Gravitational-wave strain amplitude is derived using quantum mechanical formalism. Bound on graviton mass is mg < 1.51 x 10^{-41}eV/c^2. Mechanism that explains Gamma-ray burst associated with GW150914 is presented. GRB can shrink the event horizon. Gravity assisted EM wave stacking creates $γ$-rays in M87 BH.

Strings as Physical Lines in Vacuum: Basic Concepts for the Computation of the Planck Length and the Planck Mass

Certain linear objects, termed physical lines, are considered, and initial assumptions concerning their properties are introduced. A closed physical line in the form of a circle, termed J-string, is singled out for investigation. It is shown that this curve consists of indivisible line segments of length $\ell_Δ$. It is assumed that a J-string has an angular momentum whose value is $\hbar$.It is then established that a J-string of radius $R$ possesses a mass $m_J$, equal to $h/2πc R$, a corresponding energy, as well as a charge $q_J$, where $q_J = (hc/2π)^{1/2}$. It is also established that $\ell_Δ= 2π(hG/c^3)^{1/2}$, where $c$ is the speed of light and $G$ is the gravitational constant. % Based upon investigation of the properties and characteristics of J-strings, a method is developed for the computation of the Planck length and mass $(\ell^*_P, m^*_P)$. The values of $\ell^*_P$ and $m^*_P$ are computed according to the resulting formulae (and given in the paper); these values differ from the currently accepted ones.

An event centric approach to modeling quantum systems

We define an event-centric framework for modeling quantum systems whose only modeling elements are classical bits. An event is a correlation between two binary sequences, one representing the observer and one the observed system, and two events are related by a map, itself a sequence, through the XOR operation. We postulate that observers can access only the counts of symbols in events and maps, not their arrangement. Probabilities then follow from counting the compatible microstates, with indistinguishable microstates interfering through a $\mathbb{Z}_2$ sign, so that epistemic indeterminism and quantum spin statistics emerge without postulating Hilbert space or the Born rule. Applied to three scenarios involving spin, the model reproduces the Wigner $d$-matrix and Clebsch-Gordan probabilities in the sectors studied, with no continuous free or fitted parameters and with discrepancies that vanish as $O(1/n)$ in the sequence length $n$. In a Bell test it violates the CHSH inequality and approaches the Tsirelson bound as $n\to\infty$. Because the ontic state is attached to a pair of events, including the measurement context, the framework instantiates neither the single context-independent state space assumed by the Kochen-Specker argument nor the ontological-models framework assumed by the Pusey-Barrett-Rudolph theorem.

Is MOND an effect of cosmic frame-dragging à la Mach?

The physical origin of Modified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND), which predicts galaxy rotation curves via a single empirical acceleration constant $a_0$ without the need for dark matter, remains unknown. I propose a modified-inertia origin for both MOND's interpolating function and $a_0$ within a framework closely related to Gravitoelectromagnetism, the linearized limit of General Relativity. Following Sciama's model unifying gravity and inertia, which implements Mach's principle and the relativity of acceleration through gravitoelectric induction, I consider an idealized homogeneous universe undergoing constant Hubble expansion. I identify $a_0 \sim H_0^2R_u \sim c^2/R_u$ with the relative recession acceleration of cosmic matter near the horizon, which dominates the cosmological contribution. I show that this scale enters local inertial dynamics only when the relative acceleration of the universe becomes anisotropic and the Rindler horizon is comparable to or larger than the cosmic Hubble horizon, at accelerations of order $a_0$ and below. By the simplest Ansatz for the observer's acceleration-dependent causal volume, accounting for the interplay between the cosmic and Rindler horizons, I derive MOND's simple interpolating function as a modified inertia law without the need to insert it by hand or make any further ad hoc adjustments. Physically, the region brought into causal connection ahead of the accelerating observer by the deformation of the cosmic horizon contributes less inertial drag than is lost from the region removed behind him by the Rindler horizon. This proof of concept motivates the possibility that MOND arises from large-scale linear inertial frame-dragging induced by the expanding universe within General Relativity.
